The Technology Practice Group advises on all aspects of Information Technology and Communications law.
This includes:-

  • Advising internet start-ups on their corporate structure and business model and providing continuing legal support from the seed stage to IPO
  • Providing strategic management advice to founders through founders’ agreements and subscription agreements
  •  Advising institutional investors in their investments in various technology funds
  • Advising angels and venture capitalists on their investment strategies and agreements
  • Drafting of Information Technology agreements such as systems integration, system development, commissioned software, distributorship, outsourcing, sale and licensing of know-how including technical assistance, hardware and software maintenance, consultancy and technology transfer agreements
  • Advising on e-commerce issues such as on-line contracting, digital/electronic signatures, EDI agreements, encryption and electronic payment
  • Advising clients on legal issues relating to the development and hosting of web-sites, including the drafting of website development agreements, content license agreements, sponsorship and marketing agreements, branding agreements, intellectual property rights protection in the website, disclaimers and rights management information statements
  • Advising on all aspects of telecommunications laws and regulations
  • Advising on agreements for telecommunications infrastructure projects such as BOT agreements, field trial agreements
  • Tender and bid responses for telecommunications projects
